Furniture Delivery Charges
The cost of a furniture delivery is automatically calculated at the checkout. There is only one single delivery charge per order, no matter how much you buy. It is worked out based on the area we are delivering to and the value of the order. For customers living in the Newcastle Furniture Company delivery area (Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and Durham), your order will be delivered by our delivery team. For customers living outside the Newcastle Furniture Company delivery area, we use a specialist delivery service.
Within the Newcastle Furniture company delivery area on orders under £1500 = £80
Within the Newcastle Furniture company delivery area on orders over £1500 = £60
To all other mainland UK areas on orders under £1500 - £100
To all other mainland UK areas on orders over £1500 - £80
Furniture orders are despatched from our Gateshead factory. Items of furniture are normally made to order; please be aware of the availability timescales clearly stated on the product pages. You will be contacted directly by a member of our delivery team to arrange a convenient date and time for delivery. Delivery within the Newcastle Furniture delivery area takes 1-2 weeks, and delivery outside our delivery area takes 2-3 weeks from despatch. Please note your order will only be despatched when all items included in the order are available.
- We regret that we cannot deliver items past the second floor unless appropriate lift access is available.
- Unfortunately we do not deliver to addresses outside of mainland UK.
Furniture Delivery Timescales
A signature is required to acknowledge receipt of goods.
Our own area deliveries can take place Monday to Friday 8am-6pm. The day(s) and times that we deliver to your area will be discussed with you when we call you.
Please ensure you have read our access guidelines and checked that the access available is adequate. Do not forget to consider the following factors that may prevent us from completing a standard delivery: red routes and parking restrictions; delivery vehicle size restrictions; restricted access into property due to the size of the ground floor entrance; restricted access within the property to the intended delivery location. Such factors may require alternative delivery methods for which, in most cases, there is an additional charge. Lead times quoted are given in good faith. They are based on the best available information from our suppliers at time of purchase. Where any delay occurs we will notify you by email at the earliest opportunity.
